Skin goal 02

Collageen & Textuur

When fine lines, scars or loss of texture start to bother you.

The approach

You don't improve texture by scraping the skin away — but by teaching it to build collagen again. We work in phased sessions, with rest in between. Patience isn't a side issue; it's the treatment.

Microneedling stimulates your skin to rebuild collagen from below. We build up over 3–6 sessions, with 4–6 weeks of rest in between. Sometimes a prep phase beforehand if the barrier isn't ready yet.

How to start

  1. 1

Skin Strategy Consult — €50. Intake, skin analysis and your personal treatment plan. The amount is deducted from your plan.

  2. 2

We build your plan, tailored to your skin, goals and lifestyle.

  3. 3

Only then do we schedule your sessions — never a one-off treatment without a plan.

The journey

Step by step

  1. 1

    Start — intake or prep

On stable skin, session 1 straight away. On a disrupted barrier, first 2–4 weeks of homecare prep before we start.

  2. 2

    Week 0–6 — session 1 + 2

The first needling sessions lay the foundation. Redness 24–48 hours. LED right after + mild homecare in the following week. Session 2 falls around week 4–6.

  3. 3

    Week 8–20 — session 3 to 6

Each session is 4–6 weeks apart. In between we evaluate texture and response; we adjust depth/intensity per session.

  4. 4

    Week 20–24 — final evaluation

Photo comparison with the baseline, a plan for maintenance. Often 1 boost session per 26–52 weeks is enough.

Tijdspad · 4–6 months for visible texture change. Longer for deeper scars.

Staying honest

What you can and can't expect

No aggressive peeling. No laser resurfacing. No quick fix. No replacement for a medical procedure. In the first weeks you'll already notice something; the collagen keeps building over several months — patience is part of the treatment.

Questions

Good to know

How long am I red after a session?+

Usually a few hours to a day, sometimes a little longer — depending on your skin and the intensity of the session. No make-up in the first 24 hours, and SPF strictly.

Can microneedling be done at home with a derma-roller?+

Better not. Home rollers don't work at the right, controlled depth and carry a risk of infection and skin damage. The value of a session with us lies precisely in the sterile, professional pen and a tailored protocol — we discuss this during your consultation.

How many sessions do I need?+

Between 3 and 6, depending on the starting point and the goal. We decide after the first 3 whether we continue or stop — not in advance.

Is this your goal?

During your Skin Strategy Consult we determine together whether this approach suits your skin — and in which order.
