Skin goal 01

Lift & Contour

When the skin starts to loosen around the jawline, neck or under-chin.

The approach

At Mavi, lifting doesn't come from adding volume, but from rebuilding structure. We work at specific skin depths, in phases, with evaluation in between. The result is skin that feels firmer — not different.

We stimulate your own collagen at three skin depths. A phased build-up where each session builds on the previous one — no one-shot lifting, but a shift that keeps going for months.

How to start

  1. 1

Skin Strategy Consult — €50. Intake, skin analysis and your personal treatment plan. The amount is deducted from your plan.

  2. 2

We build your plan, tailored to your skin, goals and lifestyle.

  3. 3

Only then do we schedule your sessions — never a one-off treatment without a plan.

The three depths

Where the lift comes from

Not all skin tightening happens at the same depth. We work selectively on three levels — from texture in the dermis to the SMAS layer that carries the actual lift.

Elke diepte heeft een eigen taak: textuur en tonus in de dermis, de eigenlijke lift op de SMAS-laag (4.5 mm). Daarom stemmen we per zone af — geen vaste, generieke instelling.

The journey

Step by step

  1. 1

    Start — foundation

Session 1: full HIFU build-up across all three depths (1.5 / 3.0 / 4.5 mm). Photo protocol, baseline scan, measuring the first sensation.

  2. 2

    Week 1–8 — build-up & support

The collagen response gets going. Between the HIFU sessions we keep working with radiofrequency (firming through deep heating) and LED — always on stable, calm skin. First subtle changes usually around week 6.

  3. 3

    Week 8 — evaluation & second HIFU

We measure the response and place your second HIFU session. The sessions belong together within your programme — in between we keep working with radiofrequency and LED.

  4. 4

    Week 9–16 — refinement

A programme consists of at least 2 to 3 linked HIFU sessions; depending on your skin, the third follows. Between sessions, radiofrequency keeps refining the skin tension.

  5. 5

From week 16 — full effect & maintenance

New collagen matures; the maximum result often falls around week 16–20. After that we determine your maintenance rhythm — radiofrequency and Hydrafacial at the right moments.

Tijdspad · First change 4–6 weeks after the session. Full result after 3–6 months.

Staying honest

What you can and can't expect

What it is

  • A structural lift from within — from your own, renewed collagen.
  • A phased programme with evaluation in between, tuned to your skin.
  • A result without downtime — no surface damage, you can carry on right away.
  • An effect that keeps maturing for months and, with maintenance, lasts a long time.

What it isn't

  • No filler effect and no added volume.
  • No instant lifting or face-tape.
  • No replacement for a surgical facelift in cases of advanced sagging.

Questions

Good to know

Does HIFU hurt?+

The sensation varies per zone — usually well tolerable, briefly peaking on the jawline and on the bone. We dose to your tolerance and adjust to what's comfortable for you.

How many sessions do I need?+

A programme consists of at least 2 to 3 HIFU sessions linked together — collagen build-up needs that continuity. Around week 8 we evaluate the response together and tune the further rhythm to your skin.

When will I see a result?+

You often notice the first subtle change around week 4–6. Because the effect comes from new collagen, the full result matures over 3–6 months.

Is there downtime?+

Barely. HIFU selectively heats the deeper layers without damaging the skin surface — you can usually carry on with your day right away. Sometimes slight redness, sensitivity or a little swelling that usually fades quickly.

How long does the effect last?+

You build new collagen — but your skin naturally keeps ageing, so it isn't an endpoint. Maintenance at the right moments keeps the result looking good longer.

What's the difference between HIFU and radiofrequency?+

HIFU works deep, down to the SMAS layer (with the 4.5 mm cartridge) — that's where the actual lift comes from. Radiofrequency gives a gentler, more diffuse firming. In your programme they complement each other; they don't replace each other.

Why does this start with a consultation?+

Lift & Contour isn't a standalone treatment but a programme. During your Skin Strategy Consult we do a View Skin skin analysis and look at whether HIFU fits, which zones and in what order — only then do we schedule sessions.

Is this your goal?

During your Skin Strategy Consult we determine together whether this approach suits your skin — and in which order.
